Deathbag Has Returned!
Pro Wrestling Tees / Shop AEW (All Elite Wrestling) illustrator Julio A. Guerra makes his return to comics this year with his original creator owned comic "The Epic Misadventures of Deathbag". This dark humor for all ages comic follows the heavy metal, pizza loving grim reaper known as Deathbag in his everyday life of wacky events. We last saw Deathbag in Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3D in 2021(featuring an introduction by AEW star Danhausen), and will return for a Kickstarter launch on Wednesday 7.26.23 at 10 AM CT. Stories for the fifth issue see Deathbag hosting a role playing game, fighting his nightmare, learning about video game loading times, becoming part of a haunted adventure, and the debut of Dirtbag. Along with his return, Chicago based hip hop artist Showyousuck created the official theme song for the series.
The Epic Misadventures of Deathbag #5 sees the return of creator Julio A. Guerra as writer and artist but also features some of the Guerrilla Publishing Bullpen with Adam Farster (Humalien), Ashley Esper (Ralphs), Ben Miller (Kaneesha), and Jack Gonzales (Last Unicorn).
