4/19/22 Update

Free Comic Book Day News and More.

Five years ago Ben Miller created a comic titled Judges. This comic followed a group of armed forces to hunt down all the evil people in the world, who were demons in disguise. The mini series would spread across a few years and was collected in trade paper back format. After that Judges would then join Humalien and The Epic Misadventures of Deathbag as the original three titles for Guerrilla Publishing. Now on May 7, 2022 the creator of Judges will have a very special Free Comic Book Day in store appearance at Happy Day Comics in Hammond,IN. It will be Guerrilla Publishing’s first time ever doing an event at this location and were excited to be there.

Also we will be doing a Free Comic Day exclusive drop on May 7, 2022. More on that to come.

However, the fun doesn’t stop there we will have more location and creator announcements for Free Comic Book Day coming up. We will however announce this, if you are an indie comic fan and looking for something new and you live in Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan you’re in luck.

Our next Kickstarter project Motor City Mo episode 4, will launch on Friday April 22, 2022. Motor City Mo has made his decision. For over a decade he has been Dollar Don's thumb breaker; his enforcer, his confidant. Ever since they first met in a dingy locker room back when Mo still had dreams of being a pro boxer. But Mo is on a new path now, one he didn't think possible-one that leads him away from the booze, the violence, and the misery that's consumed him for years. A path that takes him far away from Dollar Don. A path with the woman he loves. All he has to do is get in the car and go. Make sure to mark your calendars and make sure to back the fourth installment in the Motor City Mo series.

DIGITAL COMICS, CONS, AND CROWDFUNDING

March 23,2022 saw the digital release of Kaneesha. This graphic novel, written by Ben Miller and art by Randy Steward, had a physical release a few years ago but is now available for digital readers via Globalcomix . Click here to check it out along with our other Globalcomix releases.
April 15-17 Guerrilla Publishing returns to Indianapolis for Indiana Comic Con. We have some special guests lined up for the weekend and some titles making their ICC debut. This year will be a bit different as Guerrilla Publishing will be in the vendor area and not in artist alley.
April 24,2022 will the see the official launch of the 3YMM’s Motor City Mo Issue 4 Kickstarter. This single issue is complete and will need the help funding the print costs. The rewards will include a four issue bundle, a shirt, boxing gloves, and more. Tune into our social media as we will be posting pages and photos of the rewards.

GUERRILLA PUBLISHING AND GLOBALCOMIX

As we look forward to all that 2022 will bring us, one of our continued efforts is forging new bonds with creators and publishers the world over. Every new partnership means that we’re able to bring even more comics to fans around the world.

Today we are thrilled to welcome the team at Guerrilla Publishing to GlobalComix. Founded by Julio A. Guerra, Ben Miller, and Adam Farster, the trio seeks to bring underground comics to the mainstream. They publish books, comics, and graphic novels in a variety of genres that are sure to delight readers.

"We are beyond excited to join forces with Globalcomix. It is with this partnership that we are looking to expand our reach around the world of fans new and old," said Julio A. Guerra, Co-Founder at Guerrilla Publishing.  

"This will be the first time ever that the entire Guerrilla Publishing library will be available digitally,” Guerra continues, “February 23 we will launch with two titles then starting March 23 we will have a new title up every two weeks for the rest of the year. This will include classic titles such as Kaneesha and brand new titles such as Ralphs Bones in the Attic and more." 
As of today, you can enjoy two Guerrilla Publishing titles on GlobalComix – Tales from the Cryptic Closet #1, and Marty & Spud Exclusive Collection. More titles and releases will come out throughout the year, so make sure to follow Guerrilla Publishing to get notifications each time something new is released.

2/17/22 Update

Marty & Spud Kickstarter Is Now Live!

Matthew Hansel (Artist of Underdog) has launched the Kickstarter for his first ever creator own graphic novel, Marty & Spud: The Castle of the Lost Land. Marty and Spud started off as a daily strip on various online comic sites, then came to physical form in convention exclusives, and now they will be in a graphic novel. The campaign started at NWI Comic Con on 2/12/22 and run to 3/12/22. You can back the project by Clicking Here. The rewards vary from books to shirts to stickers to original art and commissions.

NWI COMC CON EXCLUSIVE AND SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE

We are doing our best to make the home show the biggest, yesterday 1/25/22 we announced that we will have two time Eisner Award Nominee Rafael Nieves (Marvel Comics, Moonstone, Guerrilla Publishing) doing a signing at our booth from 2-3pm during NWI COMIC CON.
Matthew Hansel will have a NWI COMIC CON Exclusive Marty and Spud titled “Special Delivery”. This issue will only be available at the Guerrilla Publishing booth during the show. Make sure to come by and get your copy as they are limited.

1/17/22 Update

NWI COMIC CON EXCLUSIVE PT. 1

For the next few weeks leading up to NWI Comic Con (February 12,2022), we will be posting our show exclusives, yea more than one this time, and highlighting the creatives who will be joining us. To kick it off we we are going to have very limited copies of “Lush” the book that started it all. Lush was created in 2017 ( 5 years ago) by the Lab Creative, which would later become Guerrilla Publishing. This anthology features the talents of Adam Farster, Ashley Esper, Ben Miller, Bill Halliar, Jack Gonzalez, Julio A. Guerra, Lisa Jones and Topher Kearby. This book will only be available at NWI Comic Con for the titles five year anniversary. Make sure to stop by our booth and get this piece of Guerrilla Publishing history while supplies last.

MARTY & SPUD COMING SOON AND MORE!!!

Last week via social media, we announced the launch of the Marty and Spud Kickstarter in February. Matthew Hansel (Underdog artist and 3D production for Image comic’s Hellcop and Guerrilla Publishing’s Tales from the Cryptic Closet 3D) will embark on a new adventure with bringing Marty & Spud to comic book form for the very first time. This book follows the pair of Mary and his pet cat Spud on dangerous, action packed adventures in reality and in their imagination. We will announce the official launch date for this project next week.

Also with a bit over a month before NWI Comic Con (2/12/22). We will like to debut the promo vide announcing the guest that will be at the Guerrilla Publishing booth. Click the link to see the video.

Fresh off the convention floor of Chicago’s C2E2, we are proud to announce that Rafael Nieves will be joining Guerrilla Publishing with his own creator own title. Rafael’s thirty year career features titles such as Hellstorm and the Phantom for Marvel comics and Moonstone. A Kickstarter for his Guerrilla Publishing title will launch in 2022.

NEW TITLE COMING TO GUERRILLA PUBLISHING!

Guerrilla Publishing has teamed up with Michigan’s own Three Y’s Men Media to become the new publishers of Motor City Mo. Motor City Mo created by Three Y’s Men Media made it’s Kickstarter debut in May 2018. In 2021, the first three issues of this title will be making it’s Guerrilla Publishing debut at C2E2 Dec 10-12, 2021. Want to know more about MCM:

The Ralphs Are Coming!!!

For the first time ever, Guerrilla Publishing will be collecting the first three issues of Ashely Esper’s The Ralphs. “Bones In The Attic '' will feature a brand new issue continuing the cliffhanger from Volume 2, plus bonus short stories from other titles they were featured in such as Tales from the Cryptic Closet and The Epic Misadventures of Deathbag. For fans of all eras of Warner Bros. cartoons ranging from the classic Looney Tunes to Animaniacs, The Ralphs are for you.

Mark your calendars for September 15, 2021 as The Ralphs head to Kickstarter. This campaign will feature digital and physical copies of the “Bones In The Attic” collection, stickers, digital coloring pages, commissions from Ralphs creator Ashley Esper, and more.
